► Background
The customer was exploring options to automation the Plate Shear Line in order to increase the line speed. The changeover from old system to new one was scheduled to be done within one week.
► Implementation
The project required synchronization of all line drives with main shear drive with cut to length functionality. Cutting length accuracy required was 5 mm for plate length up to 10 meter.
